How many years have you played roller derby?

Reffing 6 years this year, have NSO'd off and on as needed. Started playing about 4 years ago.

Why derby? What drew you to play this sport?

My wife and I met playing Rugby, and got recruited by a friend of ours who retired from that to play Roller Derby. I love the constant physical and mental effort and adaptability required for the sport.

What’s your favorite position to play?

Jammer. I enjoy the burden of trust in my abilities and judgement in the position which dictates almost the entire game.

What’s one random fact about you?

I play the Bagpipes.
