Why derby? What drew you to this sport?
A coworker invited me to one of her games, and I really enjoyed the competitiveness and camaraderie on the track. It brings me happiness to see all types of people I can be teammates with while not feeling insecure on my body type.

I am related to Sidney Poitier (rest in peace) and I studied a year of Japanese language.
