When did you start playing derby?
2013! 😳 I had "retired" from playing rugby and a fellow retired rugger said to come out and try it. Roller skating plus hitting people minus running (I hate running)! Of course I was immediately sold on the sport after the first practice.

What position do you play?
Put me in coach. But primarily blocker post-Covid

Why derby? What drew you to this sport?
I've been roller skating since I was about 6 or 7 years old. So as an adult getting the "ok" to skate was great. But transitioning from one high intensity sport to another seemed natural.

What’s one random fact about you?
I can turn wool and cotton into yarn. (I'm a spinster. 🤣)
